    Hi Mike,
    Informative video a presented decently. i actually have a pile of various damaged bolts building up & was just actually shortly going to review ways on repairing them as money is tight (as usual) & your video came just in time lol.

    All good info mate,I all ready had a little pipe cutter so I’m half way geared’m new to bows,crossbows,bolts,arrows but am really getting in to it…cheers Mike.

    Hope it helps Jack, i broke every bolt i had sighting in the new crossbow, lol, i’ve managed to get quite a few now so I can get shooting again.

    I just bought a crossbow,I recon I’ll be doing this before long as well.I got two bolts with it and bought an extra ten.

    I agree mate if ya already bought em and yeah they’re an absolute rip off. Theres a big gap in the market for well crafted cheapish xbow bolts. Ones that don’t bend, don’t lose their flights and don’t lose their points. Everywhere seems to sell the junk ones. Have you had any problems with ya compound xbow yet dude? Good vid fella, dave

    its about 2 /3mins work each for each bolt and for the cost – £12 x 6 its worth doing.

    I’ve made bolts from dowels too.
